Introduction
With this month's newsletter we want to introduce a new structure of articles. There are three main parts.
The first part will take care of Tango dancing in general. This includes local Tango events as our weekly Práctica as well as international Tango events and DJ-ing schedule.
The second part is about Tango CDs. Especially it will include CD-reviews of albums which became available in our TANGO-DJ.AT/shop, or elsewhere. This will also be the place where we will mention "out-of-print" CDs we are able to offer.
The third part will cover most important changes to our TANGO-DJ.AT Tango database. We will introduce the most important albums having been added as well as major updates of existing entries.
We do hope you find this structure helpfull to follow our activities and find what you are most interested in easily.

Massive update of recordings by Héctor Varela in the TANGO-DJ.AT database. Several new CDs have been added and a complete rework of the recording dates was done.
Several albums of Héctor Varela have been added to TANGO-DJ.AT/SHOP and are on sale now.

Introduction
This month's newsletter is about two main topics. One is the new TANGO-DJ.AT Tango database supporting full date and Unicode characters. The other is about Japanese CDs. First of all about the latest releases of Mr. Akihito Baba under Club Tango Argentino (CTA), but also information about some rare out of print CDs being added as track listings to the catalog and some for sale to the shop as well.
You may also find information about an interesting Japanese 10 CD set and the true hobby of Mr. Shigeru Terada, the owner of the music label Audio Park which turns out to be more interesting for Tango DJ-ing than we thought. There you can also find some insider information about possible new releases by Mr. Yasuhiko Fukukawa.

Tango-DJ.at Database online (as beta version)
A partly export of the Tango-DJ.at music archive went online successfully as a highly searchable database of ~45.000 tango recordings mainly from 1926 to 1975. It is probably the largest searchable tango music archive online worldwide being actually available as music on computer and worked on.
